Dexter Morgan (Michael C. Hall)
The character Dexter Morgan is an expert in forensic and an analyst in blood spatter of the Miami Metro Police Department. Also, Dexter is the narrator as well as the main character of this drama series. However, Dexter is, incidentally, a serial killer. Dexter has been exposed to the harshness of the world as early as childhood. He and his brother Brian both witnessed the tragic murder of Laura Moser, their mother. Seeing their mother being murdered left a dent on Dexter and his brother psychologically.

Immediately after the unfortunate incident, Harry Morgan adopted Dexter to help him recover from the misery of losing his mother. Upon adopting Dexter, Harry saw the very obvious characteristics of Dexter to kill unstoppably. As he discovers Dexter’s urge in killing, Harry trained him to become an expert killer. The main character Dexter Morgan is played by American actor Michael Carlyle Hall. Michael was born on February 1, 1971 at Raleigh in North California. Aside from being an actor, Michael is also an executive producer. Michael is the son of high school guidance counselor Janice Styons Hall and William Carlyle Hall, an employee of the IBM. Michael’s movie stints include Gamer, Bereft, and Paycheck. He was also seen in the TV series Six Feet Under.
